A CHINESE AMETHYST PEKING GLASS ‘THREE FRIENDS OF WINTER’ BOWL, QING
China, 18th century. The translucent glass of a deep amethyst color. The bowl with a lipped rim and a massive circular foot, the sides carved and incised in high relief with two birds in flight amid the Three Friends of Winter - pine, bamboo and plum.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor firing flaws and surface scratches.
