A MOLDED PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE
China, Jingdezhen kilns, 1780-1860. Finely enameled with a continuous design of immortals amid swirling clouds and craggy rocks in high relief, the reverse with figures in a sampan and a man wading through the water, all above a wavy ground. Sapphire-blue glass cabochon stopper.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear. The lip with some restoration.
Provenance: From a private estate.
Of compressed ovoid form with concave lip and recessed, oval base with raised foot rim. The foot with a four-character Qianlong seal mark.
Weight: 78.5 g including stopper.
