China, 1860-1940. Painted on paper showing landscapes with waterfalls, rivers, pine trees, scholars, rocks, mounted as a horizontal scroll with two colophons as well as artist and collector seals. Possibly a copy of an important work from museum inventory. With an old textile safeguard. (2)
Condition: Wear, minor soiling, creases, and staining, the outside brocade mounting with extensive wear and losses.
