Description
A BRONZE MINIATURE EWER, LATE MING TO EARLY QING
China, 17th – 18th century. The ewer with a curved spout, bulbous neck, cylindrical mouth and a raised conical foot is decorated with lotus motifs and meanders. Old Chinese collector’s or merchant’s inscription to the base.
Condition: Minor losses and wear, traces of soldering, fine patina.
Provenance: French private estate.
