AN ‘IMITATION JADE’ GLASS HOOKAH MOUTHPIECE AND A ‘BUDAI’ CLAY OPIUM PIPE FINIAL, QING
China, 19th century. The glass hookah mouthpiece crafted in imitation of jade with an even celadon color, the clay opium pipe finial depicting Budai holding a string of cash. (2)
Condition: Good condition with some chipping and minor losses.
Provenance: From the collection of Alexander Popov in Novi Sad, Kingdom of Serbia, acquired between 1900-1920.
