A BRONZE HEAD OF BUDDHA, AYUTTHAYA
Thailand, Ayutthaya Kingdom (1350-1767). With elaborate headdress, showing a serene expression, with slender lips and down-cast eyes underneath high arched eyebrows. Antique wood base of stepped square form with old collector’s label on the back.
Condition: Fine patina, soil encrustation, several losses.
