A JAVANESE BRONZE FIGURE OF BRAHMA, 14TH-15TH CENTURY
Java, 14th – 15th century. The deity massively cast seated in padmasana on a double lotus base on a stepped rectangular plinth, with four arms holding various attributes, including mala and kamandalu, and one hand showing varada mudra, wearing a dhoti with flower heads, bands, and ornaments.
Condition: Good condition with fine verdigris and malachite patina.
