AN INDIAN BRASS TRAVEL SHRINE WITH PAINTING OF HINDU DEITIES, 19TH CENTURY
India. The circular travel shrine crafted from brass, opening to reveal a painting of Hindu deities with tempera on paper behind an old glass back.
Condition: The glass back with old damages, the shrine with old patina and extensive wear, traces of use, along with some dents and warping. The painting in fine condition.
