The mouth of the pot is restrained and the whole shape is like a drum. The shape of the pot is round and plump. The upper and lower parts of the pot are decorated with protruding drum nails. The shoulder is shaped symmetrically and the head is laid with a ring. The bottom is wide and the outer side of the ring is glazed. The inner side is not smooth. For the purpose of pad burning, the inner and outer walls of the pot are covered with pink and blue glaze. The glaze is even. The bottom of the pot is covered with blue and white seal script with three lines and six characters "made in Qianlong of Qing Dynasty". The drum nail jar is a traditional shape of the official kiln in the Qing Dynasty. It was popular in the years of Kangxi and Qianlong. The shape of the jar is simple and looks like an embroidered pier. Especially, the drum nail and the paving head decoration have the most characteristics. In the Qianlong period, this kind of work was improved. It should be a traditional display device, which was displayed in the palace halls.
