VASE, in the Qianlong period (1736-1795) taste, an unusual and elaborate example of sgraffito enamel with blues, pinks, yellow, green, and magenta on burnt orange and lemon yellow grounds, two bottlenecks issued from onion bulb form upper body, pinched at center by turquoise bands over robust double gourds with alternating ruyi mushroom form collar, the whole with profuse tendril scrolls, hidden auspicious symbols of descending Persian blue enameled bats, Buddhist eternal knots, two green lanterns with blue and pink shaded lit candles, and celestial feathers, verso the peanut shaped foot with apocryphal blue overglaze reign mark.
