Description Desktop aluminum model of the Lockheed L1649 Starliner, first flown by Air France in 1958. Model wingspan of 10-1/2" and the nose stands 6" above your desk and features unique clear plastic propeller "circles". The metal base has a raised map of the western hemisphere with the oceans filled by green enamel or paint. The words "Reseau Arien Mondial/ Air France" are in a band around the base rim. Excellent condition, no apparent damage to plane, props or enamel.
