18th century Lanrick napkins marked 1738,? the fine handmade linen napkins measure approx 98 x 80 cms each, the napkins are believed to have been buried in a well to preserve them during the 1745 Jacobite rebellion known as the 45, together with a very fine lace fan with mother of pearl sticks.
