A Turkman white-metal necklace
Circa 1900The principle triangular shield-shaped plaque set with green and red cut pastes and suspending five discs, on a foxtail-link chain with two dome-capped tubes decorated with further discs, joined by a second chain with convex amulets bearing Islamic calligraphy and a smaller triangular plaque suspending crescents and flame-shaped pendants. 66cm long.

Accompanied by handwritten letter in Polish describing the acquisition of the necklace, dated 1932, currently rolled within one tube.
