Early Qing DynastyThe reclining Chan monk wearing thickly-folded robes, his bare chest and belly showing, holding a sphere in his left hand, hands moulded separately, purpose made 19th century stand with rectangular top with shaped recess for figure over a pierced waist and apron carved and pierced with shou characters and scrolls raised on bracket feet.figure 13.5cm high, stand 24cm wide, 22cm deep.
