the dial signed James Walker, New Bond Streetthe ebonised case surmounted by a cupola and fifteen flambeau finials over an ormolu mounted bell top, canted corners with foliate ormolu swags, decorative side handles and side apertures with cast brass silk-lined rococo frets on plinth base with brass moulding and scrolling acanthus feet, the 9" break arched painted dial with Roman numerals, strike/silent tune changer subsidiaries to the arch (tunes not marked), the substantial triple fusee movement with decorative engraved border to the backplate and cocks, anchor escapement chiming the quarters and striking the hours on a nest of nine bells and playing a choice of six tunes on a nest of twelve bells, with pendulum, two winders and case key, 76cm high
