the rectangular case with repetitive foliate and scrolling borers, the top with a similar wide foliate leaf border around a central oval glass panel with canted swing handle, the frosted recessed gilt 1.75'' dial with Roman numerals above a similar Arabic subsidiary alarm, set within a plain mask, the twin train movement with jewelled and compensated platform escapement, striking on a gong, the base with inset bell, together with a red leather travelling case, the clock 16cm high (2)
