A George III Burr Elm Bureau, 2nd half 18th century, the fall enclosing a fitted interior of pigeon holes and removeable central drawers, the base with one sham, two short and two long drawers, on later bracket feet, 100cm by 54cm by 107cm. Small splits throughout. Two patch repairs visible to the right side of the fall escutcheon. Small old handle marks visible on all drawer fronts. Bottom two drawers with fine split to drawer fronts. Left hand panel with shrinkage split running from the base up to the middle of the fall front (see image). Opposing side reasonable. Interior in generally good condition, with old scratches above the sliding well. Bracket feet later. 040220
