A Joined Oak Six-Seater Dropleaf Dining Table, circa 1700, with baluster bobbin turned legs joined by a peripheral stretcher, 122cm by 138cm extended by 71cm. 48cm wide with drop leaves closed. Good colour and patina. One dropleaf retipped at the end section, but a good match. Underside of table with batons added for strengthening. Centre section of table lifting slightly as there is a gap in the boards. Various dowel, nail and repair marks where the table has been fixed to the base. Two natural very fine splits and square section of timber has been patched in, which is approx. 3x3cm. Typical wear around the stretchers. Some minor old decay on some of the feet. 100220
