A 17th Century Joined Oak Refectory Table, the four-plank top with cleated ends above a carved frieze decorated with flowerheads and lozenges, on turned bulbous legs with block feet joined by a peripheral stretcher, 236cm by 87cm by 76cm See illustration. Top a good colour and patina. End section with two natural? fine splits, approx 40cm long and general ring marks. Opposing end section with two small splits partly filled. Natural gaps in the plank top. Various natural splits throughout the frieze, the bulbous legs and the block feet, with some old repairs. One long peripheral stretcher with split and small section of timber patched. Otherwise nice wear and patina around stretchers and in good original condition. 110220
