An Early 18th Century Double Oak Joint Stool, the rectangular top with chip carved edge above a carved frieze, on baluster turned legs with block feet joined by a carved peripheral stretcher, 84cm by 33cm by 47cm. The top very heavily decayed with a varnished finish. Top with numerous splits and triangular section of timber replaced. End sections with batons added to underside for strengthening. Joints and structure weak. Turned legs with splits and losses. Old decay to block feet. 040220
