With long double-edged blade and armourer's mark incised on one side, and two pierced grooves between the lugs and quillons; the slightly fluted and shaped leather-covered ricasso with a pair of large pointed lugs; the iron hilt formed with long flat shaped and engraved quillons terminating in two split flat ends joined by an open circle; the base enclosed by two shaped round oval pierced ring guards, and two similar designed attachments joining the quillons and blade; a prominent shaped, pierced and engraved pommel with button.
