Description Versace (Italian, founded 1978), Rosenthal (German, founded 1879), late 20th century. Three piece group of Versace Meets Rosenthal gilded "Ikarus Medusa" or "Medusa" (introduced 1994) porcelain comprising a pair of candlesticks (h.8.5", sq. 6.25") and an obelisk (w. 15", sq. 3.5"), all having a red ground, classical scrolled elements, black accents, the iconic Medusa's head emblem and classical scene lunette with dogs, putti and birds to the obelisk; the candlestickswith applied Medusa heads. Each accompanied by the original box, some with certificates of authenticity and all marked to the underside.
