Description British, late 19th to early 20th century. In the manner of Giles Grendey (English, 1693-1780), two-part red Japanned double domed bureau cabinet or secretary in the Queen Anne taste having exuberant chinoiserie decoration, the upper casefitted with multiple drawers, open and concealed compartments, the lower case with concealed storage and fall front writing surface, kneehole door flanked by concave drawers and rising on ball feet.
