Description After Claude (Gellee) Lorrain or Lorraine (French/Italian, 1600 - 1682). Various titles - 18th/19th century, mezzotints on paper, signed in plate lower left and right. Group of seven works comprising three by Richard Earlom (English, 1743- 1822), numbers 7, 91 and 98, "From the Original Drawing in the Collection of the Duke of Devonshire" (two framed), a single by Ludovico Caracciolo (Italian, 1761-1841) from "Liber Veritatis of Claude Lorrain" number 153 and threeby Thomas Lupton (English, 1791 ? 1873) from the "Beauties of Claude Lorraine" plates 9 (two) and 14. Approx. of the largest unframed, 11" x 16.25". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Mr. Paul Dominey & Mr. Michael A. Hoover of Atlanta,Georgia. Condition Report Various - toning and foxing; edgewear; stain to plate 9 with lower right corner cut; graphite notations to edges; one with glue residue from mat; the two framed not examined out of frame.
