Description A Chinese white jade pierced gourd plaque dating from the 19th century, with a wooden base. The plaque features a Qin stone mirror, a vase of flowers with a lucky coin cut out, lingzhi, and a pair of Chilong; all among tracery. Dimensions are: 1/8 in. tall X 3 in. diameter; .3 cm tall X 7.6 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance From Mrs. Smith in Houston, Texas. Her father-in-law acquired these items in Hong Kong prior to the 1970s.
