Description A Chinese underglaze blue and red porcelain snuff bottle dating to the 19th century with a stopper and cork. the snuff bottle depicts 8 figures in a landscape approaching the gates to a city. Dimensions are: 3 1/4 in. tall X 1 1/2 in. wide; 8.3 cm tall X 3.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report One chip to the foot with some areas of glaze defects.
Provenance From Mrs. Przecha in Southern California. Her late step father was a military doctor and was stationed in Tianjin in the 1920s, these items were acquired during the his stay in Tianjing.
