Description A Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl dating to the 18th century. The bowl has a Greek key border at the top of the interior and exterior and features 4 figures in a landscape by a river. The bottom of the bowl has a 4-character mark. Dimensions are: 3 in. tall X 6 5/8 in. wide; 7.6 cm tall X 16.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Provenance From the estate of Frederick C. McMillen. Mr. McMillen was sent to China by the US government after WWII to oversee rebuilding projects funded by UN grants. He worked closely with top Chinese Nationalist government officers in banking and finance sectors.
