Description A Chinese Yixing earthen wear teapot dating to the Republic period. The teapot features a bamboo spout and handle with an inscription on one side and a mountain landscape on the other. The lid features a bamboo finial with sculpted leaves. The interior of the lid has a 2-character seal, and the base of the teapot has a 4-character mark. Dimensions are: 5 in. tall X 8 in. diameter; 12.7 cm tall X 20.3 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report A few minor chips to the inside of the lid, the handle has been broken off and repaired.
