Condition Report The bureau cabinet has been restored and overcleaned The top right side in the area of the pediment has been reattached The cresting to the right hand side of the pediment has an area of restoration measuring 9cm long The finial is lacking from the central section of the pediment The division to the interior of the lower section is later Ivory handles to the drawers in sizes Later lock and escutcheon plate The closing clasp is probably later Later hinges to the fall-front Minor veneer loss to the last drawer to the left bottom left hand side of the interior measuring 0,5 by 1cm Minor area of veneer replaced below the cupboard doors measuring 5 by 2cm The left hand panel door has traces of cellotape in an area measuring 5 by 3,5cm and to the right hand side measuring 5 by 3cm Later escutcheon plates to the lower half The middle drawer to the lower half with timber replacements to the left and right of the lock plate measuring 11 by 14cm No keys The third drawer of the lower half with replaced lock The middle drawer to the top of the drawer on the left hand side has veneer loss where the veneer has been removed to accommodate the closing of the drawer measuring 20cm long The last drawer to the the left top left section has no veneer and measures 7cm long The first and second lock to the lower drawers are earlier and protrude (lower half drawer) Veneer loss to the front left foot measuring 5 by 2cm The feet with age related wear
