second quarter 19th century, school of Anthony Quervelle, Philadelphia, the projecting fold-out upper drawer opening to reveal a bare writing surface and small drawers with birdseye maple faces, over a lower section with a kneehole recess with a cupboard door, flanked by anthemion-carved arched panels, over a bank of three shallow drawers, raised on carved paw feet.
