A Superb Chinese Carved White Jade Covered Urn, 19th Century.
Carved white jade in form compressed flask form, heavy on the lower body, waisted to the neck leading to slightly flared rim, with domed lid supported the lotus bud finial. Raised on three short cabriole legs. Two cylindrical ears flanked on the neck. The main body carved with centralized longevity "shou character" within floral motifs medalion.The design was simply yet elegant. The Jade shows moist milky appearance and perfect even-toned with white-celadon iridescent.
