The rectangular form nephrite jade carved on both sides, one sides portrayed a scene of horses in relaxing position standing within trees and rockwork against waterside landscape; alternately on reverse panel, shows relief carving of prunus branching tree grew out from rock works. The plaque displayed on a fitted spinach-green jade carved frame stand, formed by two scrolled feet, from which rise vertical posts flanked on either side.
The carving is superb, smooth and detail.
The jade is creme-teal in color with sporadic russet inclusions. Finely polished, moist milky appearance.
