Description A Matched Pair of Chinese Blue and White Floor Vases
19th century, porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue with double happiness symbols, a popular wedding motif in China, against a scrolling peony vine ground, along the neck is a thick border of clouds with bats, above are more double happiness symbols, around the rim is a key border, both vases are flanked at the neck with faux handles of a mother and baby foo lion, a lovely auspicious pair.
