Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period blue and white dragon porcelain flute. Fine porcelain potted circular, long and slim, numerous pit on the mid. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. Decorated with snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-Shui waves in a dark brown color dragon squama surrounded the bowl chasing flaming pearl amidst flames, enclosed with double fine blue ring lines on the top and bottom rim. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
