Chinese Yuan Dynasty blue and white figurines motif porcelain jar. The shape having thick potted body, sturdily potted in a bulbous body, gently tapered on shoulder toward prominent, with straight neck with slightly flaring opening, and raised on small round foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. The main body adorned with chief elder seating relax with his court servant below dense sturdy tree, in a salubrious garden landscape, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The shoulder festooned with chrysanthemum flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling interlocking foliage, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The neck decorated with scrolling interlocking tendril and flowers blooms, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. And the foot base rim decorated with geometric petals pattern, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled the texture of an orange peel "ju-pi" (chu-pi) or a chicken skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the base left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
