Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong douqing glazed porcelain garlic vase. The porcelain potted with a bulbous lower belly, with ground shape, the globular body with rounded shoulder, cylindrical neck further to onion head shape, raised on small round, with slight concaved foot base. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a pale blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The pale blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
