Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi oxblood red monochrome porcelain vase. A cylindrically shaped vase, globular body, narrow to the foot base, long straight neck forming into a slightly flared rim, with two rings lines, flat footed base. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a iron red glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The iron red creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
