Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, famille rose peach over a celadon glazed plate. The Porcelain potted in shallow vessel form, with the broad wide central interior, rounded cavetto gently tapering to open wide, raised with a round shallow draft. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in pale celadon under glazed base color which contrasts against the famille rose design color. Famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in enamel design, famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, famille rose on a colored ground decoration, of BaJiXiang. The Interior decorated with abundant ripe peach interspersed fresh green foliage and flowers blooms. The most famous association is with the peaches of immortality that grow in the gardens of the Queen Mother of the West (Xiwangmu). These trees bore fruit only once every three thousand years. The god of longevity is often portrayed emerging from a peach. The monkey king stole some of the fruits causing consternation in heaven and required the intervention of the Jade Emperor according to the very famous story: The Journey to the West. Peach trees are grown throughout China and many parts of the plant are used in traditional medicine. The timber is reputed to keep away demons and branches were placed at the entrance to houses at New Year for this purpose. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
