Chinese Qing Dynasty, Qianlong apple green monochrome glazed pear porcelain vase. The porcelain potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, with rounded shoulder, long cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, with slight short mouth rim, raised on short small round, with slightly concaved foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of an apple green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin.
