Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Xuande blue & white phoenix porcelain bowl on stand. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a deep vessel, large and broad wide cavetto, with a slight flaring opening lip, raised on a small round base and slightly concave footing. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrasts against the cobalt blue fine color. The main body decorated with a huge flying phoenix among flowers blooms, scrolling foliage, and scrolling ruyi clouds. The inner mouth rim festooned with repeating scrolling ruyi. Elegantly and smoothly presented upon a carved zitan hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with the finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, and the carving. Without overlap, the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, distinct, and the shape is uniformly proportioned.
