The base of the gateway has floral decorations in the front and the Buddha is standing on a slightly elevated lotus-shaped base. To the sides of his feet we see two attendants sitting in lotus pose with four arms holding attributes. The Buddha himself is standing without clothes underneath a three-layered canopy. Behind the body of a serpent visible and above Buddha's head the seven-headed serpent forms a protective shield.
