The whole shrine has the shape of a house or alcove and depicts the 24 Tirthankaras, teachers and saviours who were responsible for the rebirth of Jain religion. The throne is supported by attendants and lions and numerous devotees are also represented. Different Buddhist symbols and attributes are found throughout the shrine, a pot-shaped kalasa as the top finial.
