Description Two 20th Century Art Pottery Tiles. Both are attributed to Pewabic Pottery, includes 1 iridescent gold/green "Eye of God" design border tile that purportedly is from the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C., and 1 square tile with stylized sail boat and iridescent purple/rose glaze, purportedly for the Detroit Yacht Club. Unmarked. Both pieces said to have been confirmed by Melanie Bazil, a Pewabic archivist, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Crazing on the Eye of God tile. Up to 5 x 3 5/8" high. ESTIMATE $200-300
