Description A Persian Glazed Ceramic Tile. Rectangular form molded tile with multi-colored decoration including vibrant blue, green, yellow, and pink which adorns the single scene of a falconer in which a man is shown riding a horse, holding a bird in his left hand, with a building in the distance. Purportedly from the Safavid Era, c.1501-1736. Crazing and some flakes/chipping; overall nicely in tact. 10 x 13 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
