After Samuel Howitt's drawings (British, 1755-1822) after Captain Thomas Williamson (1790-1815, titled in English and French, "Dooreahs or Dog Keepers Leading Out Dogs". Plate done by H. Merke, No. XXXVII, published in London by T. McLean, Oct. 1818. Slight rippling, some fading, slight spotting/discoloration. Image is double-sided, with page of text from Captain Thomas Williamson's "Oriental Field Sports" corresponding to the image verso. Image is 17 1/2 x 12 1/4" high, in an antique maple frame with some wear, 29 1/4 x 23 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-200
