The top carved and pierced with a central roundel depicting a flower head borne on scrolling foliage, with a raised rim, the high waist with pierced quatrefoil panels inset with stained green bats around a stylised shou character, the waist overhung by a stained green pierced gallery, the shoulders bound by a lappet ring, the four ruyi -shaped feet joined by ruyi -shaped aprons with inset carved and pierced stained green floral quatrefoil panels, and inlaid with silver taotie mask patterns, further silver inlay on the rim, 5.7cm H, 9.5cm diameter.
