Description 3 Chinese export ceramic powder boxes, dating to the 15th century, found and excavated in a shipwreck off the coast of Quang Ngai, Vietnam. Includes a round brown powder box impressed with the image of two fish, a round brown powder box with the image of a fish surrounded by stylized waves the exterior with remnants of sea forms and a brown glazed lidded box with a tiered lid. Dimensions: 2 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches diameter; 5.1 cm tall X 9.5 cm diameter. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report The interior of the lower half has a large chip.
