Description A group of carvings from bone, wood, and coquilla nut from China and Japan. The carvings include a bamboo-form snuff bottle carved from bone, a bone carved basket featuring 2 rats as a finial, a boat carved from a coquilla nut, and a Buddha with raised arms on a soapstone boulder. Dimensions of the snuff bottle: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 inch wide; 6.4 cm tall X 2.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
