Description LIZARD WITH DOUBLE TAIL Original engraving of 1734 by Albertus Seba (1665-1736) dutch pharmacist, zoologist and collector. Seba was the pharmacist of Indian Company and collected many specimens of animals including those with physical dephormities during his travels. All his collection was shown in his house as “Cabinet de curiositè” which was an attraction for many people, the real first example of museum. Also Linneo and Merian took inspiration for their works.
