Description A Chinese wucai vase dating from the Kangxi period. The vase depicts children playing with a woman in a courtly garden and is accompanied by a hardwood stand. Dimensions are: 5 3/4 inches tall X 2 3/4 inches wide; 14.6 cm X 7 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition Report Overall good condition with a few minor glaze pops around the rim, some minor glaze wear around the neck, and a scratch to the body.
Provenance From the collection of Cao Maoji, a writer and poet in Hong Kong during the mid-20th century.
